Night out with Diana

Last Saturday, my friend Diana & I went to Eastwood City in Libis,Q.C. We went to Jack's Loft to eat. We ordered a Chicken Salad Croissant Sandwich & it had chips & coleslaw, a Death By Chocolate cake, & each of us ordered an iced tea...I had the fishbowl iced tea. We had a fun night. After that we decided to drop by our highschool classmates get together. Last Aug.12th was our reunion but only a few came...this time more went.

In just four days I will be boarding the plane going to the US. I will miss my friends & family. But I am glad I got to spend some time with them before I leave. For sure we will all see each other again soon...when me & my Pineapple comes back to visit.

An update...

Last August 18 was my US visa interview. I will not go into details. All I can say is that I got approved. In less than two weeks, I will be flying to my Pineapple's arms. I am in such a confused stage right now coz I really don't know where to start with what I need to prepare & things I need to do before I leave. I don't want to forget anything.

Although I am very happy that I got approved...I am sad coz my grandfather died that same day also. His heart gave up on him. As I always say to anyone I talk to that I am thankful that that happened when I was still here in the Philippine. Coz if I was already in the US, I won't be able to come back without a greencard yet.

So now, I am trying to write down what I need to do & need to buy. I need to budget my money well.

Baby Shower

Today we surprised Ms.Judy with a baby shower. It was supposed to be last Saturday but we got so lucky she was absent that day. So we moved it to today. We were so nervous coz she went out & we were not sure what time she will be coming back. Luckily, she arrived back in time.

She looked so happy & enjoyed the surprise. Before it was finished, she announced that I will be leaving Nuga Best soon. That it is going to be my last week here. When she went inside the office she told me that I should inform everyone properly that I will be going to the States. Coz we owe them an explanation. So I will have to do that. I was trying to keep it low key but looks like I will have to announce to world about it.

August!!!!

It is August already...just 14 days to go before my interview is here. And just 4 weeks to go before I fly out to be with my Pineapple!!! I am super excited & anxious. All the wedding preparations are going smoothly. My Pineapple is doing a great job being the main wedding coordinator. So far all of what he has gotten has been really nice...he has good taste. Now his room is filled with all the wedding junk.

I will be able to help out some with the favors, the arch, the table center pieces & also with the food preparations. So I am excited about that. I also want to see how excited everyone is with the wedding preparations. I bet there will be some grumpy moods peeking in coz for sure everyone wants it to be perfect. Maybe me & my Pineapple will be the grumpy ones. Bride-zilla & Groom-zilla? HA HA HA!

My luggage right now is full of junk...boxes with my shoes, some flipflops, my x-ray & vaccination record. And even placed my documents in there already. In two weeks time that luggage will be well organized. I am going to be able to spend time with my family.

I am praying that all of us who will go through the interview will be approved. So we will all be on our way to our minamahal. I am sure my newly found friends are shaking in nervousness right now coz their interviews are all next week. Only 3 of us are near the end of the month. Girls...good luck to us!!!!!
