First week in the US
It's been a week already but it seemed like it was just the other day when I arrived here in California. It has been really good so far. Everyone is so nice & there is so much to do. Although I am just stuck here at home for awhile coz I can't drive yet since I don't have a license plus I don't know how to go around Chula Vista & San Diego. My Pineapple has been very sweet & been taking good care of me. His family is so nice & sweet too. I feel a part of the family already. I am still having a little problem with sleep. I am sleepy during the day still even if I get to sleep at night. And my Pineapple said I might have allergies coz my nose seem to be stuffy & dry most of the time. If it ain't stuffy it is runny.Might be coz some of the trees & plants here we don't have back in the Philippines.
When I arrived here we spent the weekend in LA. We drove around Hollywood & Santa Monica Pier. We also watched wrestling in Reseda, Ca. I saw so many crazy people in Hollywood. It was funny. Our weekend in LA has been really nice. We got to have a longer alone time before my Pineapple had to bring me home to meet his family & friends. Now he is back to work. Today is his bachelor's party but they'll just go fishing. He is not feeling really well so it might not be a very good day for him out there.
Regarding our wedding preparations...we have talked about what food to prepare, we ordered our wedding cake already which was cheap but yummy. Only $102 for a 3-tier cake which is good for 45 persons. We have also gotten our marriage license at the clerk's office last Wednesday. Most of the stuff we need he had already taken cared of before I arrived here. Only thing we need is cooking the food but that won't be until the day before the wedding, & then there's the party favors, the decorations for the flower basket, for the arch & for torch center pieces. My Pineapple had showed me our wedding bands & it looks really beautiful. Very simple but elegant.
The next two weeks will be crazy. Then after the wedding we all can get some rest.
