Finally, it's over!

My job-hunting has finally come to an end. I finally found a job here in the U.S. I will be working as a Payroll A/P Clerk for a small company that makes microwave & LF amplifiers. Although I have no experience with accounts payable, the employer was very willing to hire me. We are so happy that's why we celebrated and ate at Goldilocks. Coz I've been wanting to eat Kare-kare for quite awhile now. Good thing Memorial Day is coming so there are plenty of on sale items all around. So I was able to buy some work clothes for when I start. I will be on 3 months probation so hopefully I will do very well and the will make me a permanent employee after my probationary period. I am so happy, relieved and nervous all at once! LOL

Update!

Well, I haven't posted here for awhile since I really don't have anything to post right now. I am still looking for a job. I have had two interviews already and I am still waiting to hear from them. I also applied all over -- from Walmart to Geico. And even tried some job agencies. I am really really nervous being interviewed I tend to get tongue-tied and even forget the right words to use. Even the simplest everyday word I would forget. But with the two interviewed I had, I would say it both went well. Even if my palms were sweating like a faucet. LOL! I am getting more and more confident being interviewed.

So while I am waiting to hear from the companies I applied with, I am studying for my written driving test. My mom-in-law have volunteered to take me to the DMV for me to get my exam & then she will try and let me drive around town so I can get comfortable in the road. I guess she's tired driving me around to my interviews.HA HA HA! (Just kidding!) It's about time for me to get my license so my Pineapple will be able to join his friends and drink a beer or two with them without him worrying about driving home.

I hope I will finally find a job. My brain is just slowly degrading. I need to earn some money & be able to contribute to our household income. I am getting desperate!
